学术签证（F）
China F Visa (Academic / Non-commercial Visit)
适用于赴华进行交流、访问、考察、科研、讲学、参加非商业会议等活动人员（不用于长期工作或学历教育）。
For travelers going to China for academic exchange, visits, research, lectures, field study, and non-commercial conferences (not for long-term work or degree study).
申请材料（基础）
Basic Documents
- 有效护照：至少6个月有效期，且至少2页空白签证页。
- 居住州证明：驾驶执照/州ID，或当月水电/银行账单等。
- 签证照片：白底近照，符合中国签证照片规格（我们可免费基础修图）。
- 在线申请表（COVA）：https://cova.mfa.gov.cn（保存申请ID，便于后续修改/预约）。
- Valid passport: 6+ months validity and 2 blank visa pages.
- Proof of US state residence: Driver’s license/State ID, or a recent utility/bank statement.
- Visa photo: White background, meeting Chinese visa photo specs (basic touch-up available).
- Online application (COVA): https://cova.mfa.gov.cn (save your Application ID).
邀请函（由中方单位出具）
Invitation Letter (from Chinese host)
- 申请人信息：姓名、性别、出生日期、护照号等。
- 访问安排：目的、入境/离境日期、访问地点、费用来源。
- 邀请单位信息：单位名称、地址、电话、盖章，以及法定代表人/经办人签字。
- Applicant’s details: name, gender, DOB, passport No., etc.
- Visit plan: purpose, entry/exit dates, cities to visit, funding source.
- Host entity: name, address, phone, official seal, and signature of legal rep/handler.

- 在职证明/学校在读证明
- 美国入籍证明、绿卡或有效美签（非美护照持有人）
- 旧中国护照/曾持有中国签证或居留许可复印件
- 更名证明等
- Employment/Enrollment letter
- Proof of US status (Naturalization cert, Green Card, valid US visa if applicable)
- Copy of prior Chinese passport/visa/residence permit
- Name change document, etc.

- 地区选择请对应您的常住州所属签证中心/领区；信息务必完整准确。
- 英文姓名一栏需与护照一致（含中间名）。
- 建议在“提交”前让我们先审核；确认无误后再提交与预约。
- Select the correct Center/jurisdiction per your US residence; complete all fields carefully.
- Name must match passport exactly (including middle name).
- Let us review before final submission/appointment booking.
