China X1 Visa: JW201/JW202 and Admission Letter Checklist
The X1 list requires both the admission notice and the Visa Application for Study in China form. Applicants often call the latter JW201 or JW202; use the version issued for the specific program.
Cross-check the school package
- Applicant name, passport number and birth date should be consistent across passport, COVA and school forms.
- School, program level and dates should not conflict between the admission notice and JW form.
- Upload complete, readable pages and preserve originals for any requested verification or school registration.
- Ask the school to correct substantive errors; do not edit an issued form yourself.
