How Mail-In China Visa Assistance Works
Mail-in assistance lets a U.S. applicant send documents to eChinaVisa for review and agent handling instead of personally managing every submission and return step. It is a private service—not an Embassy mail-in program.
1. Start and identify the correct route
The customer provides residence, travel purpose, passport history and relevant family, business, work or study records. We identify the likely visa category and responsible consular jurisdiction, while the Chinese authority retains final control of category and issuance.
2. Organize COVA and documents
We structure the supplied information, identify missing or conflicting items and help prepare COVA and supporting uploads. The customer reviews the facts and remains responsible for truthful, accurate information.
3. Respond to preliminary review
We monitor the workflow and coordinate corrections or additional documents. No passport should move to the submission stage merely because the online form was filed; the relevant status and instructions control.
4. Ship the passport packet to eChinaVisa
After the case is ready, the customer uses trackable shipping and follows the case-specific packing instructions. The packet typically includes the passport, barcode page and required originals. Customers should never send irreplaceable documents that were not requested.
5. Agent submission and tracking
Our agent submits the packet according to the responsible office’s current procedure and tracks the case. The office may request more evidence, an interview or additional time. eChinaVisa cannot approve a visa or guarantee timing.
6. Passport check and secure return
After release, the returned passport is matched to the case and the visible visa details are checked before tracked return shipping is arranged. The customer should inspect name, passport number, validity, entries and stay immediately upon receipt and report any discrepancy promptly.
What the service does not mean
- It does not mean the Embassy accepts applications sent directly by mail.
- It does not bypass COVA, jurisdiction or consular review.
- It does not guarantee approval, validity, entries or processing time.
- It does not remove the possibility of an interview or extra evidence.
