Refund and Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you decide not to proceed, please submit a refund request as soon as possible.
Required refund-request channel
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted through a support ticket in your signed-in eChinaVisa customer account. Open Messages, select the order or application, and clearly state that you are requesting a refund. A refund request is received only when the support ticket has been successfully submitted. If a refund request is not submitted through an account support ticket, we will not process or issue a refund. Requests by email, telephone, text message, chat, social media, or any other channel are not valid refund requests.
Before COVA preparation begins
If you submit a support ticket requesting cancellation before we begin preparing your COVA China Visa Online Application, we will refund the amount paid minus a $50 Case Setup and Processing Fee. This fixed fee covers opening your case, secure payment processing, initial administrative setup, and case-management work.
After COVA preparation begins
Once we have started preparing your COVA application, the service is non-refundable. COVA preparation includes organizing application information, entering or reviewing answers, preparing a draft, or making COVA-related revisions. At that point, your case is actively being handled and no refund is available if you later decide not to continue.
Government and third-party fees
Government, consular, shipping, and other third-party fees are separate from our service fee. Fees that have been paid or incurred cannot be refunded unless the relevant provider refunds them to us.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the credit. This policy does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
eChinaVisa is owned and operated by Dragon Byte Design Inc. It is an independent visa application assistance service, not a government website, and is not affiliated with any Chinese embassy or consulate. Visa approval, visa validity and official processing times are determined solely by the relevant Chinese authorities.
